Today was a full day! It’s Christmas concert time….. and also day & night rehearsals, basketball games, Christmas parades, gift-wrapping, shopping, decorating, and the list goes on.
My friend and I share texts throughout the week with various Homeschool wins. I texted her this afternoon, and the blessing I shared is one that she probably experiences as well. I ended our conversation with the phrase, “because we homeschool.”
It got me thinking about all of the blessings that come before the phrase, “because we homeschool.” So here is a list of my fill-in-the-blank blessings. What could you put in the blank?

Sometimes, you may fear that your kids are “missing out” of the recognition, friendships, higher learning opportunities, or ________________. Place your particular fear in the blank.
Whatever shape your FOMO takes, that fear can be dissolved when you count your blessings! (This is true with any FOMO in your life.) The way to combat fear, is to remember the TRUTH!
- What you’re experiencing in YOUR life is valuable and very good.
- You have MUCH to be thankful for.
- God designed your family’s general ‘make-up’, habits, traditions, quirks, interests, and even educational choices (whether you homeschool or not). His designs are intentional, planned with great care and purpose.
Go ahead and make a list of ways you are blessed..… because you homeschool!
