Hello, and Welcome!
Hi, I’m Christina, and I am a mom of three beautiful children and married to my awesome, handsome, dancing partner and best friend, Tim.
On any given day, you will find me busy about my work as a musician, teacher, house-cleaner, book-keeper, lover, friend, mom, or frequent counselor of conflict resolution (“Mom, he won’t play with me!”). I homeschool my three. I play the piano on the side as an accompanist for concerts and events (which is so much fun!). I attend as many MOPS meetings, playdates, and mom nights that I can fit in. I seek to continually cultivate the friendships I’ve made at my church, my MOPS group, and my homeschool connections. I am learning and growing every day.
I would like to encourage you and help you in this blog. As moms, I know we carry many responsibilities. And if you are a homeschooling mom, then you carry another mega package of roles and commitments in your home. I would like to help you in your marriage, your home, and your homeschool.
I love my 4! I believe my roles as wife and mother are an incredible calling. This is my job. This is my work.
I love my husband, and I love my marriage. It takes hard work and dedication every day.
I cherish my precious children, and I’m so thankful to be home with them each day in our homeschool.
I also believe my highest calling in life is to be a follower of Christ. I want to know my Savior more, trust His Word, and follow His story for my life and the lives of those around me. The lyrics from Casting Crowns ring so true to me: “I’m just a nobody trying to tell everybody about somebody Who saved my soul!” That somebody is Jesus Christ, and He is awesome!

Day 4 of 20 Days: Petrified Forest National Park in Arizona
Along the interstate through Arizona, the entrance to the Petrified Forest sits out-of-sight about 3 miles away. Visiting the Petrified Forest National Park The Painted Desert overlooks were spectacular! The park was…

Computers and Solutions: The Password Keeper
Computers have become a part of my everyday. Whether I’m checking a bank account balance, cropping a picture, or sending an e-mail, I’m accessing my laptop, desktop, or hand-held computer (a.k.a. Smart phone) daily. The amount of passwords we need in today’s tech world is incredible. And the changes happen too fast! I just tried…

We came away awed by the beauty, inspired by the story, and refreshed by both the artist’s craftmanship and the modern technical feat that was accomplished. We attended “Beyond Van Gogh;…

A Tribute to Grandma
Last December, I said goodbye to my Grandmother. I find such a peace in knowing that she loved Jesus and that she’s standing by His side right now, drawing breath, walking, smiling, and enjoying peace in heaven with Him. Knowing that has been such a rock through a really sad goodbye. I think this goodbye…

18 Lessons Learned in 18 Years of Marriage
This September Tim and I celebrated 18 years of marriage! I thought I would list 18 of the many lessons I’ve learned over our time as “one.” Some of these lessons took longer to learn than others, and I am still learning many of them. They are in no particular order of importance or time….

Man of Action
So, how do our husbands fit into this whole homeschool thing? Some husbands are more involved in the family life than others. I’m not sure how your hubby handles life in the home, but I know my man. So, that is who I’ll talk about today. My husband’s name is Tim. Tim likes to make…
